Bought. Downloading now. Hopefully better than the hot mess which is the replay control in FS Playground.

Edited. Initially this was not working, and here's why...

There is a gotcha. If you start this from your PC menu, it cranks up the wrong version of the application for MSFS. Go to the actual installation folder and find the specific MSFS2020 version of the app then pin that to the taskbar and start that one. Also, the manual has erroneous information about this requiring you to build a database prior to use in MSFS2020 and says this pops up automatically during the install process. This does not happen and apparently was not necessary for this to run MSFS2020.

Anyway, it works better than the FS playground recorder and is far more intuitive as well where the GUI is concerned. Hopefully the FS Playground people will make note of that fact that this recorder's GUI does not require you to jump through hoops in order to even understand how it works, as it does have potential, but for now this product is the better one of the two for recording and watching stuff.

Just to let you all know that it does record and replay gear and flap positions externally and the control movement positions in the VC.

Here's a pic from a replay with the gear coming up at the right time:

See post above. You need to start the specific MSFS 2020 version of the recorder, if you start it from the PC menu, it doesn't crank up the native MSFS version.

I would at least give them time to release a few patches or updates.  Are you sure it isn't related to the new CTD's we are all getting?

Also, just found this...

Limitations with MSFS :

Please SET AI OFFLINE and G.A traffic slider and Airline traffic slider to 0 if you experience CTD in MSFS(This behaviour will be fixed in next SimUpdates from ASOBO)
Shortcut with one key at a time, combination of 2 keys in the same time is not supported
Zoom in / out from FlightControlReplay UI not available
A few simulator variables are recorded but are not played because of the remaining bugs in MSFS

I bought it but I have to admit that I regret the purchase. The replay function is choppy, it doesn't let me finetune the point where I want to start my replay. Will try the mp4 recording next. For 5 Euro maybe ok, but not for 18. Needs serious improvement.
