Using a little c172 g1000 the replay works fine. The moment I use the stable version of the a320 fbw mod, the sim crashes when I load the recording.

Very good for standard c172 !!! For airbus A320 fbw  mod i ll test it ! As soon as msfs will stabilize with new sdk I ll start test also payware aircraft and adjust it 👌

I've been playing with this today, and I'm not overly impressed so far. The control buttons seem to be programmed a little weirdly and the instructions are a bit random. I lost one recorded flight because I pressed the "record" button at the end of the flight rather then the "stop" button (which is what I thought I'd read). But then after getting a couple of small flights recorded it seems that you can't "pause" on replay? If you press "stop" it pauses the flight, but then you can't resume (un-pause) it? If you press "stop" again it ends the session, and if you press "play" it restarts from the beginning.

I'll keep experimenting, as the flights I did manage to save were quite smooth on replay, but if I can't pause and resume it all seems a bit pointless. The idea of having formation flights is interesting, but that's at the cost of having no AI traffic in any regular flights if you want to use this capture program.

So far, it's not looking like I will give up with FS Playground any time soon.

I'm really hoping Asobo eventually come up with a system as simple but effective as the X-Plane one. Just fly, save it at the end, and replay as and when (without having to load a 'blank' scenario first).

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

FSplayground runs perfectly for me and is really easy to use.

Here is my latest playground with the 737Max:

I dont know what to say to videos like the one above. I am not able to make FCR work when recording and playing them back. The sim crashes every time when I get to the fly screen. In the video the landscape looks like garbage and very low resolution. I have a rtx 2080ti on a i9-10900k at 5ghz with 32gb ram @3.2mhz and the sim on a ssd nvme 2.0 and sliders mostly to the right. FCR works somewhat ok in a c172, but the fbw a320 just crashes on replay every time.

That video is not FCR it is FSplayground, it has been working great for a month or so. Lots of updates as well, it just keeps getting better. It has never crashed my system, and my system is not very powerful, and I run 4 monitors.

The Menu needs resizing it takes up half my tv screen. In the options menu I have trouble saving and closing because of its size and it doesn't matter because once you restart the program you have to reset everything again

Is this FCR or FSPlayground ???

Be more specific.

Ok so out of the blue, FCR just actually worked for me using it to record the a320 from FBW. It was the first time it didn't crash my sim, and I have no idea why it worked. Also, I had my multiplayer turned on (all players), but ai traffic is turned off. As you can see, I am getting some stutters or what you may call it when heading for the mountains to do the turn, but the stutters were more like dropped frames in the capture, because I could turn my camera smoothly during those stutters.

ok so I have a distinct feeling that the application FCR will automatically update. I think I have features that werent there to begin with, ie I can set the recording framerate to whatever I want. I have no more crashes, and I can get a smooth recording by setting the target fps on the recording to 60 (it is separate from true fps on the screen, it is how many times the sim will be capture for the playback). When I set the target fps too low, then during playback the landscape gets very stuttery (but the camera translation will still be supersmooth, and my true fps is much higher).
