Anyone know where the forum rules are kept.  One of my posts just went missing and I want to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong so it doesn't happen again.

Thanks, LouP

You might want to look at the link before posting.  The rules posted are in tightly defined areas and likely do not address the OP's question.

As others have pointed out, if you look up at the top of the page under the 'More' section. That's where you'll find most stuff relating to this.

The gist of it is: Avoid the topics of religion, politics and sex and anything like that which might cause offence, don't slag people off or be rude, or swear, don't discuss EULAS and related licensing matters, don't promote piracy, don't post stuff you don't have the copyright to, don't put dodgy links up to other places, don't put email addresses up on posts or other personal data which might compromise someone's privacy.

Basically it's common sense for the most part, and any exceptions to the above should be guided by that common sense. So 'if in doubt, leave it out' is a good rule to apply to yourself.

@LouPIt didn't go missing, it got moved to the MSFS2020 VR forum where it belongs, since it's specific to VR audio with MSFS2020.

I have looked at the link before posting. I also pointed out the same thing you did in your post - the top of the page. And not knowing what the OP was posting (until w6kd replied), it was perfectly possible that the Help forum might have... helped. There are a some threads related to missing or inappropriate content.

Is "malarkey" inappropriate?  If I had to guess it was a license issue as I was questioning why mixed reality only uses windows sonic when they actively sell Dolby Atmos and DTS for headphones.  To me that's like buying a beer at a football stadium only to have a security guard come over to you after buying the beer and saying there is no drinking in the stadium.

LouP

PS. I also had the quote from MS stating that only Windows sonic would be used in WMR.
