Bert,

We all know this, I think.

What I am getting at was the impression given out before release and after release of this platform, it was always touted as a "from ground up" platform. With a completely new platform, one does not really expect 2004 technology being adopted.  I do know that I am being very cynical and have no right to be, because I only use ATC for take off and landing. I would just love to use it fully or to use the payware, but unfortunately, my pockets are very, very deep and there is not much at the bottom of them either.

I apologise if I came across as being serious with the line you quoted.

Tony

Bert,

Next time I fly, wanting to use a good quality ATC, I will check out the Greek ruins LOL.

I also have to say that despite all that is being said, the current ATC, in my opinion, is far better than native XPlane11 ATC which I do not use at all.

We all know ASOBO has much fish to fry, and I applaud them for a great response to the community, but I at least figured that when this ground breaking sim came out in 2020, they should have known we have not been positioning and holding since 2010. I get all the frustration with the ATC and I dont see it on the short list any time soon... but Cmon  at least understand the entire world "lines up and waits" at least if your not going to stop the continue as planned, which I as a real pilot have NEVER HEARD, please get this error fixed. Pilot2Atc is a great option.

Maybe, but each time I cross ponte Milvio I am not afraid that it will collapse under its own weight ...

And so the Pantheon, and the Coliseum: they are all in walking distance from where I live. Barbarians and earthquakes did some damage to the Coliseum, but it is still standing there.

What I am trying to say is that even if you build on ruins, on other people's ideas, you must know what you are doing. If you are good, people will still be using your things 2130 years later.

Cheers from Rome

A.
