April 13, 20215 yr Author The stream has already started, and after some footage from beyond the trailers, a new Asobo plane was announced. The ultralight Top Rudder Just 103 Solo, coming 27 April.
April 13, 20215 yr It's not free. $9.99 possibly. Turboprop updates starting with the next sim update, and will improve over several updates. Edited April 13, 20215 yr by Tuskin38
April 13, 20215 yr When they said "it's an ultralight" my first thought was: boooorriiiiing, we already have plenty of ultralights... but THIS open, low and slow style ultralight really adds something new to MSFS for enjoying the scenery... Just heard: it's going to cost 9,99 (I guess in USD and EUR, GBP probably slightly less) Edited April 13, 20215 yr by pstrub My simming system: AMD Ryzen 5800X3D, 32GB RAM, RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB, LG 38" 3840x1600
April 13, 20215 yr Author Right now they're showing videos on turboprop and rudder improvements in the Cessna 172 (which will also be ported to other planes), and in general Sim Update 4 will heavily improve the accuracy of secondary characteristics like adverse yaw. Sim Update 4 will also include performance optimisations for glass cockpits and, and in later updates, for memory consumption and GPU usage. They're also talking about improvements to live traffic, landing smoke effects and weather radar that, if I heard correctly, will be included in Sim Update 4. World Update 5 is the Nordics, coming June. Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland. Edited April 13, 20215 yr by ChaoticBeauty

April 13, 20215 yr Really looking forward to the nordic countries! Norway and Iceland were among the first places I flew in after the release - Iceland still lowres in many parts, so I'm more than happy to see it's getting a world update now! April 13, 20215 yr Author One more Asobo plane announcement, ATR 42-600/72-600. Coming in 2022 apparently, in collaboration with Aerosoft. If I heard correctly, it's still in the early stages, but the external model is nearly ready. Edited April 13, 20215 yr by ChaoticBeauty
April 13, 20215 yr Co-Developed with Aerosoft from the sounds of it. Coming 2022 Edited April 13, 20215 yr by Tuskin38
April 13, 20215 yr Author Sim Update 4 will have some more fixes for the Garmin panels, but Working Title will be taking over for the later updates. They are very excited for the performance and memory optimisation the engine team has put on the Xbox branch. Sebastian is estimating a 3x improvement in memory usage, less disk swapping and shorter loading times. He is also saying that the reduction in tree draw distance was not intended, they reduced the tree size in half but they want the density to be back to what it was a few months ago. They will be introducing more tree customisation sliders in the near future. Jörg says that SIm Update 4 will bring improvements to live weather, but the biggest ones will come with Sim Update 6.
