Hi All I too noticed a performance drop. this update was done about the same time FS got updated and I was thinking asobo was at it again but no I uninstalled the update as per the instructions and pleased to report a sim that is much more fluid and I got my frame rates back even flying over KLAX. A couple of days ago it was a stutterfest approaching KLAX. Microsoft you owe Asobo and apology

Strangely my flying experience has improved, I am not getting any pauses at all now. Approaching Heathrow was like a stop/go experience, now it is entirely smooth. It perhaps goes to show that updates affects different computers in many ways.

My test area is KTEB, its a slide show after uninstalling the W10 update still. Was always a bit hard on my rig but since the latest MSFS update its pretty much unflyable.

FYI, this KB update came out 2 days before WU4. I flew the 2 days after the KB update before WU4, and saw no performance drop.

Aside from the multiplayer liveries issue, I don't see any big fps drops since WU4.

I'm not saying the KB didn't break anything, but this could just be snake oil considering a lot of folks may have gotten the KB and WU4 on the same day, and then its easy to blame the KB instead of WU4.

I wouldn't be too quick to mess with updates.  I do turn  off driver updates.

cheers

And another note... If you do decide to uninstall this particular update, you will need to pause updates or Win10 will just reinstall it again.

I was just thinking, even with Windows you can roll back a patch.  Why can't this be the same with FS2020?

Reporting back: that did not the trick, my stop and go slideshow with multiplayer is still on. However, changed servers and now it's fluid again, xbox gamebar shows CPU max 75% and GPU max 35% usage over EDDM towards LSZH in the exp modded neo

You sure? Is it not the other way round, the load on GPU and CPU?

Which server is the one causing stutters? Which one works for you?

That‘s what the gamebar overlay tells me.... my 1660s seems to handle my mid/high settings quite good, saw some spike when I went into LZSH but that is 3PD scenery... but my meager i5 struggles with its max 3.3Ghz...
