Lionheart Trinidad TB-21 50% off at PC Aviator

Featured Replies

As the title suggests, this beautiful, fast and popular French 4 seat touring aircraft is currently available for FSX and P3D at a sale price. It is not clear how long this offer will last but it can currently be found at:

The TB21 Tobago has been produced by two developers (Just Flight and Lionheart) and, although the JF version has a very slight edge over the Lionheart product in term of visuals and systems (and also includes the similar but fixed undercarriage TB20 Trinidad), the Lionheart version is also very good and it is certainly a great bargain at the sale price of $14.98 for anyone looking for a GA aircraft that is a little different from the usual Cessnas, Pipers etc.

I just noticed that this deal also includes the MSFS version. 50% off.

Just bought the MSFS version 4.1 for $11.23 USD,

When I tried to install to P3Dv4 I got message just before clicking install button:  "One or more files are write protected. Do you want to overwrite them anyway?"

I never saw that before and I had no idea of the consequences of proceeding so I aborted.

Can anyone please clarify what this is. I have never write protected anything in my P3D root folder.

Is it me, or now I'm seeing a 75% off? Looks like a fine single for replacing their (or LM's default) Mooney Acclaim in P3D4. I was getting tired of the FSX/P3D G1000. How good is this bird?

Try asking either PC Aviator or Lionheart. I've been very satisfied with their support. Last time I needed, both were rushing to reply to my ticket.

Lossless Scaling for all my sims. What a godsend...

Mobile rig: ASUS Zenbook UM425QA (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H APU @3.2 GHz and boost disabled, 1 TB M.2 SSD, 16 GB RAM, Windows 11 Pro). Running FS9 there .

I decided to install into my FSX (since I no longer use it) to see what happened. Same “overwrite” warning ..I accepted and it looked fine. Then I ran the uninstaller and it told me it wanted to delete three write locked files in my P3D\Fonts folder. Did I want to delete them anyway? They were quartz.ttf , LCD.ttf and a third one. I think you do not want to delete these as other cockpits need them.

So I guess it is OK to overwrite what you have on installing the Trinidad.

Anyone know different please say.

Well, it's strange: I've purchased it last night and installed it into P3D. However, I saw no overwrite warnings at all. Maybe because I didn´t install the any other Lionheart planes in my new rig? The default Mooney Acclaim does not count. Anyway, at $7.48, it was a steal...

Here is the reply I got from Bill Otis:

Hello Steve,

The only files I know it would overwrite that is shared with other developers is one, the GaugeSound or SoundGauge DLL file. They are all the same one, so it wouldnt matter.

Good to ask.

Kind regards,

Bill

I hope this helps someone. I am off to install the Trinidad.
