Got it installed in Linker. Does it look it is working? I wonder what would be the best place and what season to test if it is working or not.

This is how KTYS looks with Snow mask:

When I disabled it in Linker the airport looked normal again.

It would help if you read the read me files for terrain masks. Snow mask is only to be used during snowy terrain, otherwise you would get dark terrains. For other areas, 40% mask would be ideal.

Yes I read that. I am confused how it work so I just disabled it. And that was my question earlier. I noticed snow around Chicago area without the snow mask and with snow mask enabled when I was testing it. So I left snow mask enabled knowing there is snow actually. However, when I flew to KTYS everything was dark. I disabled snow mask and the airport appeared back to normal. So should I have had snow mask enabled or disabled if I saw snow in Chicago but no snow in TYS? I hope this is a simple question.

For general use, mask opacity 40 to 50 is good. What snow mask does is clear roads and runways from snow but it makes grounds very dark. So it's best to use it during snow only.

Thank you so much for clarification. I guess this is how the snow mask works. If no snow then the mask will expose the dark ground, otherwise snow will hide the dark terrain and leave roads and runways clear only. In anyway, I have got the point now.

I've been flying the new Twin Otter up in Scotland.

Hadn't been there since installing Bijan's 4 Seasons, & I was delighted to come across his gorse!

Various shades of yellow. Quite distinctive.

Brilliant product.

Just took off from Talkeetna in Alaska, and the trees looked great, with snow on them. Runway was plowed.
