Is the 4 season "mod" worth it?

I was considering this product, but after seeing numerous posts and the promo video on YouTube, I am amazed at the blindingly, unrealistic colours in some of the shots. I mean, come on...

It looks great, but you aren't crazy about trees anyway...😉

Anyone care to compare this product to the REX AccuSeason? I'd like to have a product that will give me the seasons but my main concern is that the visuals at all altitudes should appear natural and well blended as much as possible. Overly bright colors are not what you'd find in my neck of the woods.

Both products are very good, you won't go wrong with either.  I changed to REX AccuSeason for two reasons - automatic update to trees throughout the year & many presets built into the app.

CPU Ryzen 7800X 3D  RAM 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR5 6000MHz GPU GEFORCE RTX 4090
Monitor AOC AGON AG352UCG UltraWide G-Sync @ 3440x1440
Internal Storage 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD
External Storage Three 4Tb HDs

It's much better than Rex AccuSeason because it will go far beyond the walls of what the REX is doing. Bijan has super solid communication with customers via Discord.

The install is simple and it works without any FPS loss or tedious setup/injection methods. As I feel the whole "automation" selling point is gimmicky in 2022.

Bijan's mod can be swapped out in seconds in the community folder( I mean who doesn't like to manually file swap anyway isn't modding a sim yourself half the fun of this hobby??🤣)

You can always expect a response from him within 24hrs or less and he tries his best to consider feedback and implementing new things in every patch.

This mod will go far beyond seasons, it's really a vast project that is worth every penny because it's constantly evolving monthly into something greater.

The initial purchase price was pennies compared to how much its evolving with new features and constant updates.

Bijan is a solid prime example of having a great rapport/ genuine open lines of communications and trust with customers.

I'm a huge fan of tree variety so this mod takes the cake over Rex Accuseason hands down!

There is already a working new automatic app with new features. It's in beta stage with 4 additional seasons.

One day I hope to see this mod evolve to "Bijan's Environment Pack" where it tackles land, water and atmospheric/sky tone changes!🍻

MSI Gaming X 1080Ti (2100 mhz OC Watercooled)

500GB SAMSUNG 860 EVO SERIES SSD M.2

I've been using Bijan's seasons pretty much from the start (I remember the original package had the same sort of automatic app mentioned a couple of posts back) and I also got a copy of AccuSeasons to compare. The Rex product is ok, and if I hadn't already got Bijan's I probably would be happy with it but the Bijan environment does add a whole lot more and so that'll be what I'm almost certainly going to use most.

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

The terrain season masking is getting better and I like it.
No more summer green in autumn/winter.

Looking forward to see how the masking develops. Last time I tried it all the runway/taxiway textures at Boston were gone.
