July 7, 20214 yr In P3D, I could fix the odd gauge, and sometimes share my fixes in the forum.. In MSFS, I cannot locate the gauges at all, let alone fix them.. Edit: Have just found out they are DRM protected and packaged in "fsarchive" files... end of hunt 😉 Edited July 8, 20214 yr by Bert Pieke Bert
July 8, 20214 yr Another reason I HATE buying from marketplace. You have end users trying to fix the dang things for free....but we can't. Always the end users who are punished with DRM. And the devs I suppose who lose money. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |  Â

I am just not buying much, and totally enjoying my RA TDv2, Milviz 310R and B55 Baron, and A2A 182. All equipped with RXP GPS and properly functioning autopilots and deeper systems. Almost forgot to mention the cloud textures from REX and live wx from AS16. I am enjoying MSFS for VFR $100 hamburger runs and visiting new places..... July 8, 20214 yr I hear ya Frank. Problem is when I hop into those legacy sims, I usually have to quit after 5 minutes hehe. The outside world is almost lifeless compared to MSFS. If I'm truly missing my complete avionics I'll fire up XP11 and RXP GNS/GTN for a flight. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |  Â

July 8, 20214 yr I modified gauges and panels on almost every plane I flew in FSX and before. I have not learned how in MSFS. e.g. I used to remove new radios and put in older looking ones. It usually took about an hour for each plane to get it to look right. The default ADF in the DC3 is one I put in lots of planes (making it smaller first to fit). Also A2A had a similar looking ADF that was easier to tune in one of their older large planes, I ported that one over a lot.
