Turned off too many things

Featured Replies

I was trying to get rid of the blue eye with the arrow, and turned off a bunch of settings. Now when I mouse over the altimeter knob, I can' read the setting anymore. Anyone know how to turn that back on?

Isn't there a Tooltips setting?  I have not yet reinstalled so unable to check.

Yes, I finally turned that back on, but now I get that stupid looking blue eye with an arrow that pops up every once in awhile. Another SU5 creation.

"Accessability >> Cockpit Interaction System >> Legacy" should help.

Ugh.  I was going to fresh install tomorrow.  Perhaps I will wait for all this crazyness to shake out.

I agree. And I turned cockpit interaction to legacy and the evil eye is still there. Must be a console thing.

That is what I think it is, really annoying.

Nah I was able to switch that eye-thing off. "Legacy" and then "off" for all info text (the two options right beneath the "legacy" line). However, that means you will not have any text indication, which can be annoying, if you don't know your aircraft inside out.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Correct. Turning off the tool tips entirely removes the eye also. My point was I think that it was added to assist console users.

I think the text indication help has also been dissolved in some aircraft, I was looking for info on the new G1000 NXi (I think it was) and a lot of the mouse over information description was merely  "Soft Key" so I am not sure if that replaces "inoperative" or if the buttons work in a way I am yet to establish.
