Anyone know why this happens and how to disable?

Featured Replies

I don't have an Xbox or an Xbox controller...yet I see this control mapping for an Xbox controller every time I start a flight.  Not a huge deal, but if I can disable would like to disable.  Anyone know why this shows up and how to get rid of it?

You’re probably right. 🙂

Set controls to Legacy, maybe? That is where I have mine and I don't see that at all.

Not aware of a setting for controls to “legacy” and don’t see it.

There’s a flight model setting for “modern” and “legacy” and mine is set to “modern.” Changing it makes zero difference to the issue I described.

You should be looking for a setting called "cockpit interaction". That should be set to legacy. I don't remember the exact location but according to google it should be at “General Options” - “Accessibility” - “User Interface” - “Cockpit Interaction System”

Flightsim rig:
CPU: AMD 5900x  | Mobo: MSI X570 MEG Unify | RAM: 32GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo | GPU: Gigabyte RTX 3090 | Storage: M.2 (2 & 4 TB) | PSU: Corsair RM850x | Case: Fractal Define 7 XL
Display: Acer Predator x34 3440x1440 | Speakers: Logitech Z906
Controllers: Fulcrum One Yoke | MFG Crosswind v2 pedals | Honeycomb Bravo Quadrant |Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant | Stream Deck XL & Plus | TrackIR 5 Tobii eye tracking

Weird, I have a X-Box controller plugged in all the time, and never see that.

Yeah as others have said, poke around the settings.

Already set to “legacy” so that’s not it. Hmmmm. 🤔

I also never seen that before and I have a wireless Xbox one controller that I use.

ASUS ROG Maximus Hero XII ▪︎ Intel i9-10900K ▪︎ NVIDIA RTX 3090 FE ▪︎ 64GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro ▪︎ Windows 10 Pro (21H1) ▪︎ Samsung 970 EVO Pro 1TB NVME SSD (OS Drive) ▪︎ Samsung 860 EVO 2TB SATA SSD ▪︎ Seagate 4TB SATA HDD ▪︎ Corsair RMx 850W PSU

I have never seen that before either.  I have the store version of the sim.

Last call…no one else sees this or something like it?

I guess it’s the price I pay for zero crashes or issues. 🤔🧐
