Today Q/A Event Fenix simulations - 13. August

I think that before actually flying the airplanes it is hard to say if there will be competition.

Personally, I don't care at all about the external model: it might as well be a cube (except for multiplayer of course). I'd like to ask developers to dedicate all time spent on the external model to the cockpit model and flight model instead.

But many gamers like to fly the airplane from outside (the only time a real airline pilot tried it he didn't enjoy the experience). I still wonder why.

I'm a dedicated "simmer". Also a licenced pilot.

I love the external view. When something is beautiful, you like to marvel at that beauty.

Has nothing to do with gamer.

Look at the ribbing on the skin at the center left of the image. I mean this is a gorgeous model. I have never wanted to buy an addon more than I do now.

That is exactly what stood out the most to me. Just gobsmacked!

That was not my intention. We ALL are gamers. Simming is simming in a level D simulator. That's what I think.

You have the privilege and responsibility of flying an airplane for real, so sometimes you are a pilot. I can't, so I am always a gamer.

I am a gamer when I play with Assetto Corsa. I am a driver when I drive my car. And the physical model in Assetto Corsa is much more accurate than what we have in our "flight simulators".

The real problem is that some "simmers" seriously think that they would surely save the day in the unfortunate circumstance that both pilots had had fish. I'd rather not be on that flight.

Just my opinion, of course.

The Pmdg does even come close to this exact level of detail on either the exterior, interior, cockpit or (Prosim) systems. If the Fenix is priced at around $80 then it should be set a lower level. A price of $140 is nothing more than price gouging.
