PMDG should start showcasing the progress on their 737 seeing as how we are getting a taste of this one…Of course that’s my selfish thought cause I want to see the 737 lol.

I think this is going to give PMDG some REAL competition, even though it's not the same aircraft. They had over 1,200 LIVE viewers for the stream today which is nuts. I am really looking forward to Fenix Simulations and their A320.

Given that both these birds are going to hit the market at a similar time and be in direct competition I wouldn’t be surprised if PMDG are holding off to try an take the 737 a little further than planned. They won’t like being knocked off their perch by these new boys… Either way it’s a great time to be into study level tubes that’s for sure.

Doesn’t matter. Will buy both 🙂

I’ll probably do the same but dropping £150 plus (Guessing) on the two I could see why people would pick their favourite.

I don’t understand the “direct competitor” comments. Personally I am getting both the A320 and the NGX2020.

These planes may compete IRL. Here in the sim they are just more things I am adding to my library to scratch my itch to fly them both. They compete in no way.

See my Trailer: A Year Of Flight

Well at this point I wait and see, only seen static pictures and placeholders...

Going to be exited if I see the stuff in action 😉 only a model which is nice personally doesn't lol

If they live up to the hype it will be a sure buy 😎

Great that they are eager to show off all the hard work to the sim world and appreciated...

Did you watch the twitch stream?  Wasn't static pictures or placeholders being shown...

Is £150 a sensible guestimate? What do others think?

I’ll put it in US dollars but I’d guess anywhere between 120$ and 160$

 Intel I7 12700KF / 32 GB Ram-3600mhz / Windows 11 - 64 bit / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060TI / 32" Acer Monitor, Honeycomb alpha/bravo, CH rudder pedals, Tobii 5, Buttkicker, Logitech radio panel.

Nope I don't think so. Amair few times said he is not going to that price range. I am guessing it will be around ~80€ or even less. But I could be wrong though.

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 64GB DDR5 6000MHZ RAM, RX7900XT, FreeSync 165hz 1440p display

There may be a few people who will only purchase either the PMDG 737 or the Fenix A320, but those people are far and few.

The Boeings and Airbus fly differently and perform differently.  Even if the PMDG 737 isn’t as “study level” as the Fenix A320, there is still no other competition even close to it in MSFS (the Bredok 737 is not even close).

Thus, the 737 PMDG is not really competing against the Fenix A320.  Some people are waiting desperately for the first high fidelity Boeing in MSFS.  Other people just want the highest fidelity A320 possible.

If anything, it’s the FBW A320 that is probably competing against the Fenix A320.  As for the Fenix A320 vs PMDG 737, they are not really competing, IMO.

It's still a bit early but I would put them slightly above PMDG right now. Keep in mind that this bird is STILL in Alpha 😉

Thanks!
