No it just sits on blocks in the hangar, waiting for Carenado and their accomplices at the market Place to fix it. I guess there warranty is , if it breaks in half, you get to keep both halves.

So you like their products too. How is your Seminole working?

It works fine after they fixed the two problems I emailed them about 5 weeks ago.

What happens if nobody buys from the marketplace?

I think, most of the Newbies will buy at Marketplace, or if somebody to lazy to search for Mods.

Longtime-Simmer will get there stuff where they always got, it´s also special offer when you got older Mods from P3D or FSX (Simmarket or ORBX).

Anybody using the XBox doesn't have any choice about whether to user the Marketplace (and that won't just be newbies)

So the Seminole was updated. The Seneca was updated. The C170B was updated. The Skylane was updated. Yeah, they probably won't bother with the Mooney.

Better to ask how the Mooney works.    After all,  inoperable fuel tank selectors are a pretty basic thing to correct.   It's only been broken since the fourth week of July.

Yet,  Carenado is working on releasing the Skymaster.

The cheapest way to get a device to run MSFS

Then they will put someone in charge of the market Place that knows how E Commerce properly works.

Doubt it. This is Microsoft. They'll "nationalize" the MarketPlace so you either sell thru it or you don't sell.

We discussed this a bit yesterday in a separate thread,  but I definitely think it deserved it's own due to it's importance.  So I'm glad you started it,  so it can be a PSA.    "Why,  do some 3rd party airports cause conflict?".     This is a pertinent post by Rob Jones of Working Title.

I was trying to troubleshoot some scenery conflicts that were causing CTDs yesterday when I noticed something concerning. It seems that a lot of scenery creators are not changing the location of the modelLib.BGL that is output by default for an ArtProj. I wrote a quick python script to scan every layout.json in my airport folder, and out of 170-some add-on airports that I have almost 40 are shipping a file named scenery/global/scenery/modelLib.BGL. This is less than ideal.

For those who don’t understand how the MSFS VFS works, the short version is that when the sim starts it loads all its own files first, then it reads the layout.json of everything in the Community folder in alphabetical order and “stacks” those layouts on top of each other. If ever two packages have files with exactly the same name in exactly the same path whichever one was loaded first does not get its own copy – it gets the other package’s copy.

This is the output from my script just for the path scenery/global/scenery/modelLib.BGL. Each line represents an airport that is trying to put something in that location. There are 38 of these. That means if everything is enabled, 37 of those airports are not going to have that file contain what they want it to contain. Needless to say, that can cause problems.

Thanks to Liamp51, I scanned my install with the addons linker yesterday.  I found 3 Mooney liveries with layout.json's calling missing files.   I found 4 airports that had the same generic folder structure.    And I discovered that I had two instances of tarmac worker uniform textures,   United Airlines textures which I consciously installed,  and a second set that I'd uninstalled without realizing it by installing the "Enhanced Ground Vehicles Mod".

One of the airports is AWD's TNCM.   It's been causing CTD's and other problems for some users since MAY.   https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/tncm-tffg-issues/402759/2

Most of what makes people sick,  is what they choose to put in their bodies.   Most of what turns the sim into an unstable mess,  is what people install in their community folder or buy in the marketplace.

I only have two airports as add ons, one Market Place key West, and the other a Freeware PAVD. Two  payware aircraft, a pushback mod, and the GTS 430 mod and that is it, and that is all that I will add to MSFS 2020. NO CTDs, and no problems. I want to keep it that way.

I buy from Simmarket or Orbx, so no issues and I have support from the teams.

A good producer will support his customers no matter where they bought their product...

Laminar Research customer -- Asobo/MS customer -- not an X-Aviation customer - or am I? 😉

I have a feeling that when Asobo signs up a Developer for the  Market Place they have to agree that all mods and fixes go through the Market Place.

Yes they are...business as usual.  The Mooney is irrelevant to them.  So we're left with the only way to partially fly it is to start on the runway with a fuel tank selected, and fly until it runs out of avgas, or the imbalance flips you on your back and you dive in.

Why the heck the click spots and animations for the doors work fine, but the fuel selector doesn't....and they can't seem to fix that (or they never coded a key command for it!!), doesn't make sense to me.  Unless they have just given up on it as a fix to the Mooney makes them no money, but pushing out the Skymaster does.  Mystery solved. 🙂
