Taburet uk and ireland roads

Had a look at it but from the images I felt the roads stood out from the terrain a little too much. Not sure if that was just the pics I saw, but it stopped me from pulling the trigger on it.

I had to learn this the hard way, but I suggest when you read TABURET, close your browser immediately, turn off your computer and take a walk outside!

Would be nice to know why you say this.

I thought another benefit of this addon is that it removes trees that sometimes grow on roads. Can someone confirm this?

It sure does.  Here's a couple screenshots from Tucson and Phoenix.

Imagine having to buy these Addons for each country .

Then you add rivers and shores.

You can do the math yourselves….

I am sure that Asobo will solve this in time

Yes...just like they will with liveries and AI traffic.  🙂

The question is always how long you want to wait...

This Asobo will do next year. They just use openstreet map and use machine learning to create roads and highways. Its part of the upcoming world 2.0.

Save your money boys and girls. These packs are not worth it. Have uninstalled UK/Ireland and Germany.

Apart from the huge fps hit and stutters that it causes (even with a 3090), the roads in Germany look like bright white ribbons and even though some areas in the UK look nice (Ireland looks quite good), overall, it's quite horrible.

Jörg mentioned, that they currently focus on World Updates. But he said this could change. He still had no clear picture but definitely wanted to get the world ‚aka digital twin‘ more vibrant. They have a strike team evaluating this. it could be marina, traffic, trains, animals, vegetation, who knows…

And as soon as helicopters join the party they have plenty to work on in that area…

I have had no fps hits..smooth as butter in US and that is with TOD 4 and OLD 4 in user.cfg and 200 for TOD and OLD in sim and ultra settings.  And yes I am using nvidia 3090 with a million apps installed.

I have purchased but have not yet tried UK and Germany.

I have UK water and it has not impacted fps.

Maybe I can buy UK clouds somewhere…
