October 16, 20214 yr Hi, I can't seem to use my TCA Throttles for this airplane. Idle is approx 20% and Flex as well as CLB detents don't line up. I am flying the FlybyWire A320neo (Experimental) w/o problems and have the throttles set up perfect. Has anyone seen this problem? Thanks for help Brgds Juergen Mader
October 16, 20214 yr You need to make a new throttle profile and have it default that's what I did as my a32nx profile wouldn't work Edited October 16, 20214 yr by FSUK_86

My answer was re FBW but this is re Headwind A330 Edited October 17, 20214 yr by DAD Phil Leaven i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"
October 17, 20214 yr Not on the OP but, what exactly is this Headwind A330 ? Watched a couple tubes and found a lot of simmilarities with the FBW MCDU, panels... Is this module based on the FBW or standalone ? Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
October 17, 20214 yr The headwind A330 uses the FBW systems... I beleive version 0.60... but will be compatible with 0.70 shortly... everything system wise is the same as the FBW A320... although texturing in the A330 cockpit is slightly different... Faisal Niazi

Is this module based on the FBW or standalone ? It really isn't worth the download. It is barely flyable. When hand flying it is very twitchy, you cannot enter your ZFW into the MCDU so the aircraft cannot follow a VNAV profile etc. It sounds ok and operates fine on the ground, but needs a ton of work in order to be worthy of an aircraft somewhat compareable to the FBW 320.

Yes there are still refinements to bring so as to make it comparable to the A320 FBW, but it is quite enjoyable. You can enter your ZFW and fuel from the MSFS load menu from the screen and use Simbrief for the calculations. October 17, 20214 yr I’m so used to the experimental version of FBW A320 that I can’t go back to USR waypoints now. The A330 shows much promise though.
