November 15, 20214 yr Author Absolutely. With a cruise speed of 350 kts slowing to 140 kts to gear down speed takes some time, distance and patience. Otherwise, it’s a steal. Great cross-country plane and very stable coming down the Glide Slope with a couple of notches of flaps. Great visibility and both the G3X and GTN750 have lots of buttons to push on and off for selections. They are Garmins so we still have the Left and Right, Inner and Outer Knobs to twist, turn and press. But, it doesn’t get any cheaper than free and the devs are continuing to make improvements. The G3X / GTN750 combo makes an easy to use and highly efficient NAV system. The G3X fully Automatic Flight System is very intuitive and efficient. Great for planning those long descent profiles from the Flight Levels. The initial rate of climb is 12,000 FPM which is nearly vertical. The big turbine turning the 6-bladed prop is something to behold. Outstanding Mod ready to download and assemble. Visit their Discord and use the latest versions of the files. November 15, 20214 yr Author BTW. The aftermarket speed brakes available for the Mooney and Bonanza would make a killer upgrade. Maybe for Christmas. I know a dev that could possibly make it happen with the proper touch of drag and sounds - the 3D mod to the model is another story. This might be the Mod Of The Year, the timing is perfect.
