Now I have made a complete reinstallation of the FBW A320 Developer Version.

At the moment I'm on the way on another route from EKCH to LGAV. About 20 minutes have gone since takeoff - so far everything is fine.🙂

I am able to fly the experimental version now. For some a reason I had to uninstall the fbw from the content manger again. It works for now, however, I don't have any sounds working. Settings are good, nothing is muted. I just hear a dump sound wisper, no engines sound etc.

The range rings capability in the Fix Info Page is available only  on the experimental version, correct?

Answer to self: No, also available in dev version...just select the top waypoint in the MCDU and select fix info page...

At about 9:30 pm EST, Nov. 20th, the custom FMS from the experimental version was merged into the development version. At this time, both of these versions are pretty much the same. No need to use the experimental version until they start on the next big "thing".

Whilst I do agree SU7 has created some performance issues with the Experimental version, it remains eminently usable... and continues to amaze and delight.  It will no doubt get fixed, perhaps after the much needed HF (but that's another matter altogether). We are obligated to FBW in a significant manor... ta! I am so looking forward to the next several months, as this bit of kit will force any pay ware Airbus developer to up their game.  Yes, Fenix will be a day one purchase for me, but meanwhile, I am very grateful and looking forward to FBW's partnership offering, soon to come also...

what is the difference between the standard and the custom FMS?

Hello,

ATC no longer recognizes the flight plan introduced by simbrief. This was only the case with the "experimental" version. Now with the merge I am having the same problem with the "dev" version. Is there a solution to fix this problem?

The default Microsoft FMS has many limitiations and bugs, regarding the routing, departures and arrivals. Our custom FMS (in cooperation with WT) doesn't have these limitiations...  and has different bugs (😉).

Pls check out this (the topic 'Sim Options')

The ATC recognized the flight plan introduced by simbrief with the parameter on "save" on the EFB
