There is none this week, apparently they already told us this as the admin over the official forums posted a 'reminder' to let us know the next one is on 2 DEC

Not really a reminder because in the last update post it was said that there would be one on the 25th but anyway.

Regarding a hotfix, it's probably in the works because Olie said in the forums that some of the weather issues caused by Sim Update 7 will be addressed "soon". Next week's Development Update should clear that up (and hopefully bring the promised roadmap update).

Whoever wrote up the blog probably forgot what yesterday was. Just going through the motions of adding 7 days to the current date.

This is exactly how the beta testing goes within MSFS too. One hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing.

I assume the blogs are done up by the community team, which are based (mostly) in America and work for an American company. So they would have known that Yesterday was thanksgiving.

It was probably just a minor slip up. Going through the motions and adding 7 days to the date at the end. An honest mistake.

It probably is yes. The problem is, there are many many honest mistakes.

There are many clues that a hotfix is being worked on, and it seems to me that the reason they have not announced it yet is because they only do so in official announcements or Development Updates. In the end you never know, but personally I would be extremely surprised if they are not planning a hotfix.

Correct, they are written by Jayne who is based in Seattle (and is currently on vacation according to Discord).

I don't mind the mistake, but I do wish they would have posted a forum notification earlier in the day.
