CJ4..May be a stupid question

Featured Replies

Hi all, starting to really enjoy the CJ4…I’m starting to get to grips with the fms but one thing I can’t seem to find is once I have my flight plan dialed in, is there something like a prog. page somewhere where I can see distance to destination..not next waypoint but destination, For the life of me can’t seem to find it in the fms? I feel like it’s right in front of my face and I’m just simply missing it.

Hi flyinpilot212121,

I haven't used the CJ4 in a while, however, if there is a FIX page you can put the destination airport there. I find the FIX page handy, especially if you can use distance arcs - like 30 miles out.

One thing you can do is activate the Upper EFIS to read EFIS from FMS date. It will give you wayponts, distance and destination distance. Also TOD on the display.

are you using the fantastic WT CJ4 mod? it adds heaps of realistic features and you can customize all sorts of stuff like what you're asking

There is a PROG if I remember by heart you can find it under IDX….

It is in the mod.

I think it might be IDX page, and then one over from there. I do know there is a PROG feature as it took me a while to find it as well.

Thanks..so it’s just a matter of me finding it. I’ll poke around the fms some more.

It is under the IDX page as previously mentioned. Lots of goodies there such as GPU and settings for importing Simbrief plans and syncing that to the ATC. The CJ4 mod is really a stellar creation.
