Don’t make any changes to future flights as one test isn’t sufficient to prove anything.

If you have AutoSave in a paid version of FSUIPC try loading the earliest saved flight if you think it would have been before the problem started.

If it is earlier keep everything the same and see if the problem is repeated. Always tricky as data stored in RAM won't be the same on a reloaded saved flight as the original. But it's worth a try.

I did another flight into Zurich and the same thing happened again this morning, on short final, in bad weather (low cloud), extreme stutters and unflyable. I reloaded from autosave about 6 minutes earlier and exactly the same happened again. I checked Process Lasso while it was happening and nothing was maxed out, it looked to be normal usage. Not sure what is going on, I've had several trouble free flights in and out of Zurich.

@simfan1983, log everything and report to LM.

I will do, just doing some experimenting - tried with no ActiveSky and clear weather, same result. Tried with no GSX, same result. Will now try without the Zurich scenery addon using default scenery. I have the flight saved so can provide LM with all the files. It happens at the same point every time so it must be a scenery issue IMO.

If it's fine with Zurich disabled then yes, it points to the scenery. But that would be unusual. Whose Zurich? FSDT?

I removed the FSDreamteam Zurich scenery and landed with no issues so for me the issue on this occasion is with that scenery.

I'm not inclined to ask Umberto for help given his obnoxious attitude.

I don't find him like that at all. I doubt very much the scenery is responsible. It's been out for years.

It must be something to do with the way P3D is handling the scenery - I'm not suggesting that it is FSDreamTeam's fault. If I ask for help in the forum he will say exactly that, so there would be no point. In the past I've had a couple of issues with GSX and their sceneries etc and asked for help only to be berated by Umberto with the claim that it *cannot* be anything at his end, only to find out it was, and then of course no apology. He is famous for having a bad attitude but he produces excellent products so we have little alternative.

This could be. People are seeing this all over the place, it's not isolated to just a Zurich scenery installation.

I think I have solved the issue with the slideshow frame rates at Zurich by re-ordering the scenery library using Orbx Central. I placed the Orbx airports and regions below my lowest third party airport addon, and then Orbx Global openLC below the Orbx Airports and Regions. Reloaded the autosave and landed without issue even in low cloud.

This makes sense to me. I think Orbx Global must have update to Zurich because the scenery without the FSDreamTeam addon is actually pretty good, so there must have been a conflict. Previously I had Orbx above the FSDreamTeam addon.

Now I need to fly the IVAO tour leg for the third time and complete another 8 flights in the tour before the end of the year!

Flew Belgrade to Vienna this morning with EA=On. No stutters or issues with the flight. I won't be flying with this option on any longer. The depiction of the ground with it enabled looks very unnatural to this user.

LM has indeed made changes in some aspects of how scenery gets handled. I can't recall the details. But I saw messages that ORBX Buildings and shorelines showed some issues (layering, buildings bekow ground level, polygons faulty cut off) and LM changed something with positive influence on those issues.

I do not know if this is the cause of the issues you are seeing here.

I do have some fps issues and have rearranged my scenery too. I did not have any CTD or slightshow since....

But when using FSLabs and PMDG WITH Asp3d and EA and Vol Clouds on I get fps drains very much....especially in PMDG 777 and 747....

I have my Orbx regions below my third party airport's and Orbx Global range below the regions. This is how its always been for me and I still have this stuttering bug so I don't think this is it.

Yes I think you are correct. There were two stuttering issues for me - one was a mild-ish stutter that would appear after being in the sim for a while which came with 5.3. I seem to have fixed that completely with Process Lasso. The other was a slideshow followed by CTD which I only ever saw recently at Zurich and that now seems to be solved by changing scenery order. Others are still experiencing stutters regardless of how scenery is installed and LM did not fully resolve it with HF1.
