It happened to me once so far on the HF1, previously on 5.3 not. It happened in a non-heavy situation at cruising altitude over the desert with clear skies, so it's not a hardware related problem. It's a software bug, by all means, probably induced by some combination of scenery/weather/EA/whatever factors. I think it has something to do with the KMCO stuff they fixed, but that is just a guess. I also will not rule out that it is caused by ActiveSky, because that's the only other thing that got updated with the Hotfix. Anyone without ActiveSky experiencing that? This. Eric

LM provided excellent CFG entries which allow user, if they like, to squeeze the maximum performance out of their systems and run the sim extremely smooth IF, read the if, the system is correctly setup AND software is correctly I stalled AND compatible. LM allows also a install and just run.....without making ANY changes. Maximum flexible. But for the moment there seem to be a nasty bug in the latest HF1 (second HF1 release) wich triggers fps decrease and stutters. LM Support Forum are full of user reports and I myself have seen it once. Marcus I am running with default job scheduler settings. My 9900k has AM of 255 so all cores as I run with HT off. I agree, there is a nasty bug in the software that, with EA on for some reason, triggers it. Eric

I have a 30Hz monitor and with VSync enabled my fps is of course limited to 30. Flying west over Russia and close to the Belarus border enroute to Paris my GPU has a 5% load at FL380 in the PMDG737. Try limiting your refresh rate to 30Hz via NCP and see if that helps. I've not experienced this stutter-fest. Ray, there is a bug, it's not on the user side. I have a 9900k, 64gb of physical ram and a 3090 GPU. I have my frame set to unlimited inside the Sim and use the NCP to limit frames to 30. And I am getting this bug pretty much all the time with EA on. With EA off, no issues. This is an LM problem, not an end user. Eric

Well that’s a start. Feed that back if not already done. I have EA to Off so probably why I don’t get the problem. 49 minutes ago, B777ER said: I have when it happens with HWMonitor. December 27, 20214 yr I flew with Enhanced Atmospherics off and there were no issues. I'll continue on other test flights and report back if I have any horrible FPS without EA on. "I am the Master of the Fist!" -Akuma
December 27, 20214 yr Just finished a 12 and a half hour flight. EA off. Just AS and Rex 5 clouds. Average FPS 29.2. Just a couple of drops to 2-3 fps happened when I was watching. As far as I can see, they are related to Weather injection. All were when flying during heavy clouds and 2 were in a thunderstorm. Sim did not CTD or show the dreaded blue circle. It recovered quite quickly and continued at around 30 fps. Settings as above post: Upgrade =0 Max Reg =16 AG Batch LOD =2 RT Level =1 Bath =0 Intel i7 6700K @4.3. 32gb Gskill 3200 RAM. Maybe your page and my page numbers vary based on our AVSIM settings? See below: I would imagine anyone running PMDG or FSLabs with EA on would have to be running ASP3D to get weather radar updates? PMDG and FSLabs don't require ASP3D when EA is off, but this issue presented seems to require EA on. UPDATE: I ended my 12 hour "default" flight and searched the log file (it was huge) looking for sudden drops in FPS, but I couldn't find any values below 53 FPS (Unlimited lock to Vsync monitor at 60Hz) and 99.9% were 60 FPS locked. Cheers, Rob. This all is very promising as i also use ea on with asp3d.
