December 26, 20214 yr I succumbed. I missed my trains. I bought myself a little N gauge set for Christmas. And another locomotive, and a few more cars, more track, some buildings, another transformer, a couple switches... LOL Sue
December 26, 20214 yr Moderator Years ago I spent several thousand dollars on N gauge equipment. Eventually I came to the sad conclusion that my eyesight just wasn't good enough to really work well in N gauge... 😢 So I packed up all the N gauge stuff and put it aside and invested in HO gauge instead. I had filled the basement of my rental house with a huge layout and was well on my way in detailing it out. Out of the blue however I wound up moving from South Texas to NW Indiana and had to tear down, box up and move all the HO gauge stuff! After the move I just didn't have the heart to re-assemble the layout and eventually gave it all away to a young teenager who was a model railroad fanatic. Fr. You wouldn't get an answer Doug, you'd get handcuffed and taken away LOL!!! @n4gix hopefully that youth is still putting it to good use today! I have boxes and boxes of HO/OO downstairs, I liked a lot of the British models that were OO as I spent much of my youth on those rails going to see my grandparents.
