Non beta tester here on MS Store. 500Mb game update in store then 560Mb in game. Now onto Content Manager with another 2.4Gb.

I haven't gone to content manager since SU7 when it started setting everything to Easy. We will see if they fixed that, I guess.

The same issue was happening if you enabled Dev mode. Been through content manger updates and assistance options all still saved as hard which is encouraging.

forgot to format drive C and re-install Windows? I told you 😊

the other option is to empty your community folder temporarily. the choice is yours.

Ms store beta tester. Left the beta. No store update. Started the sim 500kb update in game. Exited game. Restarted pc. No store updates again. Started sim no content manager updates. In game release notes say I am on 1.21.18. Guess thats all? Flying now looks and feels like the beta did.

Try deleting your Rolling cache if enabled. Did you check for content manager updates?

I must be one of the unlucky ones, after being on the Beta, plus standard installation on main drive, i am re-installing the sim again after it failed due to the update. Ah well, half way through already, should be finished in another 30mins or so.

Everything working on my end. I was not on beta, so maybe that is why no problems. I wish all their updates were this easy.

I posted too soon. After I finished my flight I checked the store and it is now downloading 1.17 GB update. I am scared. Going to start the sim and see what happens.

Downloading 113.02 Gb in game now (deluxe version default install location - yeah my bad).
