Last four updates went smooth as silk, if you don't count the bugs they contained. This one looks like the best of the bunch.

Happy it worked for you... mine got stuck on 64/70..  😬

Exited the Beta. Fired up MSFS. 500kb download. Done.

Painless and quick.   But let always predict the worst possible outcome eh Bob!

That's what I got 1st thing this morning.

Patch is online. I was in Beta but it downloaded the exe (1.7 GB) a minute ago after looking for updates in the MS Store

Got this later in the afternoon after restarting the sim from working in dev mode.

Now... I'm getting the whole thing again. My install in not in the default location. The current download is going back to my custom folder. Oh well... I'm getting 150Ms+ solid during the download so far. I hope it holds up.

One more happy Steam user here. Left the beta this morning, installed the release version of the update, no hiccups, no breaks, no reinstall, made a flight from KTVL to KRNO. fps around 30-40 (in the C172 on the flat screen), no jitter or other annoyances.

I could live with this version for a while. Didn't try VR yet, though. (Just catched a cold and would probably choke under the goggles).

Kind regards, Michael

I never have payed twice for the same Flight Sim.

Neither had I until SU5.  To that point I had never had an issue with the store version, but four days without MSFS after the update, I gladly paid for the Steam version.  Trouble free since.
