TRACK IR is Fixed. 😃

How is this possible if the released update is said to be identical to the hotfix?

Kind regards, Michael

I must be one of the unlucky ones, after being on the Beta, plus standard installation on main drive, i am re-installing the sim again after it failed due to the update. Ah well, half way through already, should be finished in another 30mins or so.

It looks like I am unlucky like you. After trying to load the program after 8:00 AM PST. it says I need a MS Store update. Click on Update and it takes me to the xBox App. Click update there and then try to load the program, says the same thing, MS Store has an Update. Will try rebooting in 45 minutes to see if that helps.

It sure is! Nonetheless I am also very happy with the SU7 option to disable headtracking with a button click because sometimes that's exactly what I want. Now I have TWO options to 'pause' TIR! Awesome! Things only got better! But yeah, it's nice not having to use that button every time I lost connection with TIR and also nice being able to pause the current view as it is!

Er...? The released update is identical to the beta in which TrackIR worked as it should...? What hotfix do you mean exactly? There never has been a real hotfix.

@Bobsk8 "Everything working on my end. I was not on beta, so maybe that is why no problems."

I was on the beta, left the beta "flighting" a while ago, got the 513 KB update today, and flying now as if nothing has happened. forgot to empty Community folder and to re-install windows, and it still works flawlessly. but will install windows anyway, but only in a VirtualMachine, because I haven't done it in a long time. 😀

500mb odd update in Steam, then 716mb in sim and now 4GB+ in Content Manager. JU52 update is about half of that 4GB tho.

Premium Deluxe version.

PNG looks stunning out of my Kodiak 100 with real time weather, TrackIR that;s working as it should and an absolutely 100% smooth totally stutterfree performance on ultra settings with my G-Sync monitor (1440p). I am very, very, very happy with MSFS and this update!!!

after beta cleared, a whopping 109.39gib download, WHAT the hel!!!!!!

What directory is it downloading the sim to? You need to point the sim to the proper directory or it won't see any of what you already have installed. I've seen a lot of people come across this when leaving the betas.

I had some many people that acted like if I didn't get the beta, I was making a big mistake... Glad I didn't......

Yep this is what happened to me. The directory was pointing to the default location on my C:/ drive but I had MSFS on my F:/ drive. Once I pointed to the correct location I just had the 500kb update. Pretty painless update.

This is probably the issue they are experiencing.

I opted out of beta, and the updater pointed to the default location with a full download. I simply pointed it to the actual installed location, and the update size was about 512kb.

Okay, sorry, this was my fault then. I don't use TrackIR myself.

Anyway, good for all using it.

Jeez.... everything OK with Steam instead. Just opted out and the game changed name in the Steam library (just Microsoft Flight Simulator now).

The sim checked for updates first, then loaded into the new build without downloading a single KByte.

A bit OT maybe but for the Kodiak lovers: this update also solved the power lever in beta problem for me! (Beta not being the MSFS beta but the 'reverse thrust' on the Kodiak)! Prior to this update (and ever since the Kodiak release) I had TWO transparent power levers on screen whenever I pressed the button that should toggle beta power. And I also had to HOLD the button while it should work as a toggle. I just landed and after the update the button works as a toggle again AND the animation of the lever is as it should be too! 🙂 Now I am even MORE happy with the update! 🙂
