The changes in 8040 are only for those with 5.3HF1. For those like myself that have reverted to 5. 2 client due to the stuttering issue LM still can't figure out, you will not see any of these fixes translated into your sim. So you will still get the sudden unlimited visibility issue on approach if using 5.2 client.

Thanks I'm actually using 5.3 HF1 and also encountered live weather not in sync, I'll have to check with the new version and report to them
