Also note: Questions 3 and 4 are multiple choice.

For question 3 and 4 you should have a Not Applicable option.

As all ready mentioned your poll is broken. You're forcing people to answer both questions 3 and 4 when they might not have the Steam version (for example).

Eagles may soar, but alley cats don't get sucked into jet engines.

Dang it. I was not aware that all choices are mandatory... Lemme see what I can do.

Problems in the past where mostly related to the MS Store / Gaming Service.

Since SU7 it seems they solved the matter, at least for me. Might be due to new version MS Store / XBox apps too.

Start the sim - get the notification about an available update and start the update, all within the sim.

Could not be better and easier.

Therefore it makes no sense for me to poll about problems I had .....

I don't ignore that a lot of users seems to have still problems for whatever reasons.

Best regards

Detlef

The last mandatory update was an example of how easy it was for me with Steam. When I started the comp, and signed into Steam, it immediately did a MSFS update. I don't really know what it was doing but it didn't ask me to do anything, it just did it and then the game started. In game the Mandatory update just happened and I had next to no input in that process either. No issue with Steam or MSFS? Not the usual experience that some have I know, but there it is.

Cheers

No. No, Mav, this is not a good idea.

Installation and updating works fine - it is just confusing and non-intuitive finding the way to get it done. The software design logic has  IMHO changed the last 20 years - what you expect first comes last, what you expect on top is hidden anywhere at the bottom,  using software was a logic and structured process - nowadays it is like finding your way in a maze.
