January 11, 20224 yr I have tried upscaling feature but cannot see any advantage ( higher fps ) which is largely advertised on YT. Have anyone had good result from running NIS in P3D5? Artur
January 11, 20224 yr Here is a good (IMHO) explanation of NIS and a link to how to set it up -- https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/nvidia-image-scaling-upscaling-performance and https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/how-to-use-nvidia-image-scaling Gigabyte x670 Aorus Elite AX MB; AMD 7800X3D CPU; Deepcool LT520 AIO Cooler; 64 Gb G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO DDR5 6000; Win11 Pro; P3D V5.4; 1 Samsung 990 2Tb NVMe SSD: 1 Crucial 4Tb MX500 SATA SSD; 1 Samsung 860 1Tb SSD; Gigabyte Aorus Extreme 1080ti 11Gb VRAM; Toshiba 43" LED TV @ 4k; Honeycomb Bravo.

January 11, 20224 yr Author I think that NIS feature will not work in P3D as there is no full screen, only borderless window. Artur

If P3D would be in full screen mode then NIS should give result. In my case NIS mark is green but do not see any upscaling and fps increase. Artur

Having searched and read the instructions, I do have it but I see no purpose as it only scales downwards and 1080p is already small enough. January 12, 20224 yr Author Actually it scales upwards - in game u can set up for example 77 or 85% of ur native resolution and algorithm will scale in game picture to ur native res, but GPU will work less loaded. Artur

January 12, 20224 yr In these times with alot of other issues in P3D/CPU/GPU/driver relation i find it so hard to ad another one to the mix. So i will gladly here from people who has FPS improvement at 4K in P3D but scaling like MSFS to for-instance 75-85% ? Thanks again Michael Moe Michael Moe
