January 20, 20224 yr The EFB looks interesting, I like the one time purchase, but I am not sure if it offers anything I don't already have in the sim. Or in LNM (which I am hardly using anymore since I am into the NXi). What makes it a must have?

January 21, 20224 yr Commercial Member I second the EFB. I use it on every flight and love it. Regarding AI traffic. I use AIG and it will show all the info. The only issue is it displays the aircraft registration and not the callsign.

My experience was that there was always a mismatch in for transitions between LNM and MSFS, and I have the MSFS library exported into LNM. So I did the subscription just in the last 3 weeks or so, uploaded the latest AIRAC into both MSFS and LNM and voila, all perfect now. What did I do wrong do you think? I trialed it and while it's really a lovely piece of design and not particularly expensive in the end I decided I didn't really need it. I do use LNM. No need to get a sub just to keep them synced! how do you say they are syncd by default? am i missing something here? the sids/stars procedures come from my older navigraph (2013 cycle), so it does not match the sids/stars of MSFS which is on latest cycle.. how do i sync them both without a navigraph sub? I also downloaded aivlasoft trial version and it says the same thing.. it provides an old airac by default but user can update that airac at anytime.. so it also does not automatically read latest airac from msfs... January 21, 20224 yr In LNM scenery db options, I chose use Navigraph only for navaids and procedures and then it picks up my 2013 airac to show sids/stars.. if i say dont use navigraph at all, then i dont get any procedures.. i'm using LNM 2.6.13.. January 21, 20224 yr for example, in KMCO they have recently added SNFLD1 STAR.. how do i get this to show up in LNM thru MSFS? if i list all STARS at KMCO using my old airac, many of the latest KMCO stars dont show up..dont know how to pull that info from MSFS directly.. January 21, 20224 yr last and final option i have is to get aerosoft navdatapro and use that to update airac in aivlasoft efb.. navdatapro is not an auto recurring payment and so it should work with my banks unlike navigraph.. but problem is i cannot update simbrief with navdatapro.. edit - tried paypal too for navigraph, doesnt work in my country.. any recurring payment needs additional authentication as per new govt directive..
