can't lunch fs2020 prevented by microsoft dependency

Featured Replies

I have being using the FS2020 for over a year with no problems.

Now when I click on the FS icon (the same when I go to c:/program files/windowsapps/Microsoft flight simulator.1.23……./FLIGHT SIMULATOR EXE.)  I get the      ‘user control window’ …do you want to allow this app to make changes…..MICROSOFT STORE PACKAGE DEPENDENCY INSTALLER.   clicking YES  or  NO  once  goes back to the same ‘user control window’ clicking again Yes or No   I get the following message

-- c:/program files/windowsapps/Microsoft flight simulator.1.23……../flightsimulator.exec

--The specific path does not exist        check path try again—

But the path is there .. I moved all out from the Community Folder, I went in ‘Safe Mode’  I try from the Microsoft store, reinstall Microsoft store,  reset MSFS App.   But still the same…can anyone please help me with this problem?.  do I have to re-install FS2020?  Thank you

Hello,
Simply remove the c at the end of exe and your path will be OK ! (exec -> exe)

Hate when my lunch isn't there.. I want to be independent!

And hope you'll find a solution

Thanks for asking.....I just had lunch! @frank747 would you like me to fix your title and change lunch to launch?  Enough food talk!
