Remember in I think it was FS2000 that a handful of airports had this feature. I remember going to those airports over and over. I think KOAK Rwy 26 was like that.

Is that not because it's  pre-loading the the touchdown sounds and applause sounds maybe.  I have experienced the same stutters at the same point as described, but I cant recall that it occurs every time.

Anyone else experiencing stutters on final and on taxi-in since 2-3 weeks now?
I have always had a smooth experience from offblock to onblock, no matter in what phase of flight I have been right now.

On 08JUL24, I've noticed significant stutters for the first time, starting on short final and lasting until I close the sim.
Happens on both the 737 and the 777. I didn't change any settings as I thought I've found the sweet spot last year.

Any idea why I'm getting this after 560 smooth flights all of a sudden?

Concerning stutters in the approach there are many youtube videos. It helps to adjust the settings according to your PC, deleting the caches and updating the addons! Sometimes it is also a background software killing the FPS. In my case I realized that an old version of FSrealistics caused some freezing and stuttering. After updating it was ok.

Auto FPS will cure your stuttering at approach.

You should always check for addons causing the stutters. FSLTL, GSX are (at least for my configuration) the top causes for stutters on final. Sometimes its an outdated scenery/airport, or the BING Map-Addin. AutoFPS does not help when it comes to spawning objects in the vicinity (like GSX and FSLTL are doing), and also has no measurable impact when using frame generation / DLSS and GSync.
