What is the date for next update

You think those affected will have moved on by Thursday? What about all the other tragedies happening daily, do they not matter? Where does it stop?

I for one do not want to be reminded of real world politics and tragedies during a gaming interview.

Please stop using them as excuses.

Well I hope Microsoft will remain consistent now they've set out their stall.

In 2019 (I've gone for the pre-pandemic year for more realistic figures)  there were 8 fatal commercial airline accidents and 233 fatal GA accidents.   That's an average of 1 fatal aviation accident every 1.5 days.  Every loss of life is a tragedy.

It's going to be tough for MS to squeeze out updates between these tragedies but i'm sure we'll all understand.

You are going to remain consistent aren't you MS?  I do hope so.  I wouldn't like to have to accuse you of being hypocritical virtue signalers

These things are a slow-moving process and of course for updates like these it is necessary to get certification much more than 2 days before an update is to release. The update has already been certified and is ready.

How many days exactly? Important info for beta testers as they usually only get 2 weeks. How much of that time is available to report and fix bugs before having to send the update for certification?

What would be 'nice' is if on reading that the update was being delayed for two days because of a plane crash people would just say 'fair enough' and move on instead of acting like it's some huge conspiracy.

Yeah, if only those pesky users would stick to the plan. Why didn't they behave as we wanted them to?
