March 21, 20224 yr It can't come fast enough. I enjoy flying in the Pyrenees, they are such an interesting mountain range. I assume the 2m DEM will cover that area as well? Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
March 21, 20224 yr I never wipped my Community folder before a WU or SU and it has always been uneventful. This turn around it's not only going to be uneventful from a functionality hazard pov but above all, the VERY BEST WU EVER ! PORTUGAL is comming, well and SPAIN too ( I like our Spanish brothers and sisters, more like the sisters... who are really salty - bummer, my HBP prevents me from tasting that 😞 ). MFS will never be like before after this WU ! I am looking fwd for some features in PORTUGAL, at least a few of it's iconic bridges, and the areas of soaring ! Yet, as it is right now it's more than enough for me. I agree with the sentiment from the OP. The thread is concerning a world update, yet Mr Young comes in with a criticism of a sim update. I'd rather stick with FS2020, with just a few really simple bug fixes that are long running and ignored, but so easily fixed. I hope it's ok to mention them. It's also quite exhausting to learn they are still un-fixed, and hundreds/thousands of others mention them each month at Zendesk but are ignored! Instead they get offered some new scenery. That'll stave it all off for another month. Do you get my drift? Edited March 21, 20224 yr by robert young Robert Young - retired full time developer - see my Nexus Mod Page and my GitHub Mod page

World and Sim updates are now on an alternating schedule, so this is hardly the thread to complain about bugs - maybe a seperate thread would be better? I lived in an 18th century stone cottage in the UK countryside for a couple of years. Idyllic, apart from the fact it was the draftiest place I ever lived. Frustrating yes, but as an overall package it was a stunning place to live. MSFS is like this, an overall stunning package with a few frustrations that will probably get fixed at some point. The frustrating bugs don't come anywhere near to making MSFS not worth using. Oh well. Cascais, near Lisbon was always neat to fly out of. Seems like there was also an airport called Portimão in the south that was an interesting region. I remember seeing a couple of the Portuguese bridges around the 'net available for download for MSFS. Portugal does have some spectacular bridges. I wonder how many will be in this WU.
