March 25, 20224 yr I have just flown from Bilbao to Barcelona in my C337. I had no idea Spain was that beautiful. A stunning flight.
March 25, 20224 yr My frist flight into Spain (after WU) last night. FBW 320 into Bilbao. Stunning! Now up for a sightseeing flight in the Kodak around Bilbao. Then probably A320 to Barcelona. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

Thanks for the Goose and Trislander videos by the way. Do you intend to cover the new Cessna 414? Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). Do you intend to cover the new Cessna 414? It's pretty frequent sadly, I won't get specific but its pretty sad for pretend airplanes 😄 Ah, yes, I do plan to, its been an expensive week! I was only sent a copy of the Trislander, most of the aircraft I review are purchased by myself, I did a stoopid and bought the wrong version of the 414 so had to get in contact with their support.

I make a distinction between those who are experiencing frustration with MSFS and post very negative comments (understandable, but not really"hate"), vs. those, fortunately small in number, who go out of their way to trash the sim just for the pleasure of roiling the waters until the moderator has to close it down. Unfortunate, but c'est la vie.

I bought the P3d FSX version like a dumbass not paying attention, they were pretty helpful considering they didn't have to be.

(Well it's a lovely day). Managed to start it. Seems nice. Flies nice. Doesn't like my Saitek panel though. Sounds OK but there's an issue with the sound transitions as you increase the throttle from idle. I will be interested in what you have to say. EDIT. Yes, like the Twotter these silly sound errors really bug me. The sounds need work. Lots of work. But it's a beta I suppose... Edited March 25, 20224 yr by jarmstro
March 25, 20224 yr Author Great sounds make great planes and are quickly becoming 'a thing' as they should be. March 26, 20224 yr I like the 414 already. I know it will be updated too. Sounds a lot better than some of the other planes. Even some of our top-tier level developers still have issues with their planes since release.. March 26, 20224 yr I fly in real life (ok, its been a few years due to medical). MSFS is the sim that has made me feel like I was flying again. It is the sim that looks most realistic out the window. Is it perfect, no. Is it perfect enough to immensely enjoy hours of flying around the world... oh yeah. I love it.

March 31, 20224 yr Very much agree. We all have a couple gripes, but it's useful to see the big picture sometimes: so much of this has never even been possible in a sim before, not with every addon ever made. Andrew Crowley
April 1, 20224 yr Just an observation. In the not too distant past, threads like this -- which are a source of enjoyment for many -- would inevitably attract posters whose aim was to foment arguments and angry ripostes that ended with the thread being locked. Lately I don't see this stuff nearly as much. Is this wishful thinking, or are we in a new and more enlightened era? In any case, I am enjoying it while it lasts. MSFS is the sim I could not even imagine two years ago -- it is an incredible, amazing accomplishment. Edited April 1, 20224 yr by cobalt
