April 23, 20224 yr It would be fitting to give such a fantastic aircraft it's place in MSFS. I saw it once flying over Leeds, and was amased at the sheer size of the aircraft. It was parked on an apron next to a runway. A C130 landed right next to it and looked like a little mosquito next to the 225. I remember as we drove into the airport ramp to see it, my wife mentioned it had a huge wing. "That's not the wing, it's the horizontal stabilizer on the tail." "Oh my god..." Watching it fly was amazing too. It was so big that it looked like it was going about 40kts when it rotated. Even 3 minutes after takeoff, it looked much closer than it was, because it was so enormous. Very, very impressive airplane. Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light

April 24, 20224 yr What I do not understand is, why they have yellow/blue upside down according to the Ukrainian colors? If they use the country colors, why then inverted? 🤔 Guenter Steiner -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Betatester for: A2A, LORBY, FSR-Pillow Tester --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If they use the country colors, why then inverted? 🤔 They are just the national colours. They don't have to be in the correct order as they were not trying to drape the aircraft in the national flag, but just use the colours - a lot of airlines do this. However, if you look at the tail and rear fuselage, the colours do swap around to the correct orientation, but I think this is just coincidental. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. As an example British Airways has blue surrounded by red in its 1997 design but in its 2020 rebranded design it has red surrounded by blue. So the An 225 livery is just a stylized livery using the colours of their national flag. Thanks bobcatt! . No. No, Mav, this is not a good idea. Sorry Goose, but it's time to buzz the tower!
