ATSimulations had also indicated their Piaggio P.149 would be updated once the An-2 was released. It now looks like both projects may have gone AWOL... Cheers anyway, 2Low2Slow Edited April 23, 20224 yr by TooLowTooSlow

April 23, 20224 yr I went aboard the AN-225 at Farnborough in 1990 and, from memory, I reckon it'll take quite a while to accurately develop the VC. I'd like to see it in MSFS, but I also hope for the IL-76 Candid one day. Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org

Yes, but it'll still take a lot of time and effort to produce a VC. As far as I'm aware, there's no developer with an An-124 VC available that could be modified as a starting point for the An-225, so they'll be building it from scratch. And unless the pilot's seats have the curtains drawn behind them, there'll be the two flight engineers, the navigator and the radio operator's positions to model too. April 23, 20224 yr The An-2 by ATSimulations (successor to Sibwings) was held up due to the licensing process (according to the official and the sim-outhouse forums) but the addon itself was fully completed. Perhaps MS doesn’t foresee a licensing issue at the point that an An-225 aircraft would be completed. Also, the An-2 dev being Russian may have complicated payment agreements. Interested to see if this 225 actually comes out or if it’s a gesture to show solidarity but with no follow-through. Edited April 23, 20224 yr by STK
April 23, 20224 yr Really looking forward to this one. I was in Finland, playing ice hockey, and stepped off my plane at Tampere to see, just a few metres away, an An-124 parked alongside. Massive! I can only imagine how the 225 looked up close. I used to enjoy the challenge of flying the 225 in FSX. My dad used to be part of a flying test crew for both 124 and 225. He may still have some photos. I’ve been numerous times inside 124/225 so I roughly remember way around and how thing work . There is YouTube channel of current Antonov chief pilot coincidentally also Antonov. I’m pretty sure he can provide a lot of details .
