May 16, 20224 yr So a few of us have been asking about simvars and if the new Fenix 320 will be mappable to our hardware. So far these questions have been disconcertingly ignored on the discord, so was wondering here if anyone had any educated assumptions about the inner workings of aircraft and variables in MSFS… Is it possible to have such an environment where mapping can’t be done? The Fenix leverages ProSim some how but I’m not sure how they combine the two into a desktop sim…has any other addon used ProSim before in Xplane or P3D? Edited May 16, 20224 yr by daan_vb 🛫
May 20, 20224 yr The Fenix is out and I am having difficulties mapping the Throttle Axis via AAO. The regular AXIS_THROTTLEX_SET does not seem to work. I mean, there is a sound feedback of the throttle increasing for a while, but in the cockpit nothing moves. Pretty weird... Use the one that has _EX1 on the end, i got it working through AAO quickly last night. 🛫

The MSFS defaults are THROTTLEn_AXIS_SET_EX1 The most commen flight control event axis are grouped at the top of the event selection list in the "!! Flight control axis" group LORBY-SI
May 20, 20224 yr I am trying to set up the Bravo MCP. Lvars don't seem to be collecting and I am not seeing anything on the watch sim events feature. Has anyone else figured this out? AAL??? Mark "Crabby" Crabtree
May 20, 20224 yr Thanks, I got the throttles working. Any ideas how to setup the reverses on the HB Bravo within AAO? I am using the button action pattern, since my TQs have a fake button press at the lowest end (Saitek TQs). But I know that people have been playing around with the axis calibration and were able to do the same thing with an axis too. Edited May 20, 20224 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
May 20, 20224 yr (L:E_FCU_ALTITUDE,·Number) is the Lvar (read from AAO) for changing the altitude. I cannot figure out how to actually make it change. The things I did for the 737 are not working of course, event ID vs Lvars. What say the gurus? AAL??? Mark "Crabby" Crabtree

Buttons, but the offical guide requires multiple to be activated at once, as seen here: Calibrating your Honeycomb Bravo (hs-sites.com) It works fine using default MSFS settings, but have not managed to do this within AAO. I say that Fenix should release a guide or at least a list of events, HVars, BVars, whatever, that operate their plane. IMnsHO this would be the least developers could do for a payware plane. At the moment only WT and FBW did at least something like this.-- Personally I am really upset about the fact that "we", the users, have to figure out all this by ourselves, time and time again. That is not the way it should be. Edited May 20, 20224 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
May 20, 20224 yr For reverser I'm using key down event: TOGGLE_THROTTLE_REVERSE on both Levers 1 and 2. Throttle lever 1, Key Up event: THROTTLE1 _CUT. Throttle lever 2, Key up event: THROTTLE2 _CUT. Throttle will go into reverse when reverse lever actuated, move throttles forward for the amount of reverse thrust required. Pull levers back and deactivate the reverse levers. Works like the real thing, I think, for all I know. So, there are numerous ways to activate Reversers.
