We've acknowledged circa 3 weeks ago that it's an issue that is exacerbated on our end. We've since fixed it and pushed it to limited internal testing with good results.

On the over-zealous part, if you'd like to send me a transcript of the exchange between you and the moderator, I'm happy to review and speak to the individual in question about using the appropriate level of zealousness 😄

ok thanks, because the product in in current state is unuseable, my myself and also 2 friends of mine have the same issue.

Various other a/c in ms2020 dont have the issue for me, same as my 2 friends. I raised this in the discord channel 2 days after release, noting how amazed I was you released an aircraft that you couldnt land or taxi and how its was missed by the beta team.They threw me out, and its taken you a month to work out I was right, and there was an issue with your product.

Well, no. It's usable, there's a workaround posted and pinned in Discord - you just have to click the PED DISC or toggle the option off/on depending on your setup.

I'm also not entire sure what you're referring to re being "thrown out" - but if you were banned from our communications platform, you're welcome to send me (as requested prior) your exchange with whoever has caused you such chagrin, and I'll happily look into why you were removed.

Also enlarging the extreme dead-zone works for me as a work-around. I set the dead-zone on the R-Axis to 70% and that works fine for me. Perhaps a lower value will work as well.

After you line up on the runway, use your mouse to click on the button in the center of the tiller handle where it says "Ped Disc" on it. After you press that button, move your rudder axis to verify that the rudder pedals move and the tiller handle does NOT move. You have disconnected the tiller axis from your rudder axis and you will not have super-sensitive steering when you land. You will have some ground steering to keep it on the runway, but not enough to turn off of the runway. You need to click that button again after you land are are down to 20kts or so to allow you to turn off of the runway.

Sorry, no I don't know how to do this in FSUIPC, I don't use FSUIPC. Perhaps Pete or John Dowson over in the FSUIPC forum can help you out.

But why, I wonder, don't you just adjust these settings in the Controls section of FS2020's settings? It's a piece of cake and it works great. (At least for me 🙂 )

I agree, long time FSUIPC user, and I have the paid version, but only use it now to program one switch ( can't even remember which one, I did it over a year ago). Everything else is done in MSFS..

ive spent this morning setting them up in ms2020.  hopefully this patch will be out before looking for nursing homes for myself.

I don't understand. Moving two sliders in the Controls section of FS2020 settings only takes 4 seconds, well, 6 seconds, maximum. Set both the extreme deadzone sliders to 50% or higher and you're done. Piece of cake. Really.
