June 10, 20223 yr THIS is one of the major problems for me with MFS - the HUGE dependency on connectivity with the Azure ( and other ) infrastructures. I have been affected by it quite a few times in the last month, more often than it used to happen. Even reverting MFS to non-bing / non-photogrammetry mode, it still depends on the connection for, among other aspects, real world weather, and more than once in this last week I experienced server failures that had consequences in the weather, and caused abrupt changes that could have ruined my flights 😕 I wouldn't mind running MFS without Bing and / or Photogrammetry but it turns out that it runs more fuidly with them on than off 😕 when the servers are up, which is still more often than they don't, but would be worth starting to record the failures to get some monthly / yearly availability figures. Yep, I noticed it, but indeed the various tests ran a few months ago revealed better results with Bing + PG ON. Have to give it a new try. June 10, 20223 yr Author Now its 10 hours later, I still have no Bing Data. There are no runways in any of the airports. MSFS pops up a window saying your network is too slow and photogrammetry will be turned off. But right after that it also turns off all Bing Data. So, no sim for me. But, I have to leave home and go to work now, and won't have a chance for hours to try again or read any messages here in the forum.
