No crashes etc here, but I am only using the planes icw with Live Traffic.

The planes of AIG are good; it all depends on the MSFS AI engine. And if FsTraffic will act better remains the question.

Looking through the list of models any other Dash-8 model than the Q400 is absent. So not a complete Norwegian then with its Q100, 200 and 300 I assume. Would have been so nice with an easy package for airliners but this just wont do. AIG is a bit of a hassle sometimes I admit but at least the modellist and its list of airlines is impressive

legit cannot wait for this. Spent 4 hours trying to get AIG to work and countless youtube videos. I keep getting that 255 error popup. nothing works to get around it. I cannot believe they brought their archaic tweaking ways into MSFS because there is literally no reason why installing it has to be this difficult. I get that MSFS is a pain for developers but for the life of me I do not want this sim to become what P3D/FSX was which was 4 hours of tweaking and only an hour of actual flying. For everyone who thinks tweaking pays off in the end it just doesn't anymore. It did when I was a teenager with nothing else to do but I have way too many other priorities these days and will gladly PAY for a seamless product just to have model matching on Vatsim.

 That 255 character limit is a Windows issue, it's got nothing to do with AIG. You are the one that let MSFS install itself where it is. Don't be surprised if the Just flight Traffic program has the same problem.

I actually figured it out eventually but I figure Just Flight (as most payware) would have a standard installer to point where I want the liveries to be installed to. Technically I haven't actually installed anything with the Alpha India installer. I would bet most people have Windows so I will definitely characterize this as an Alpha India issue, You're telling me that entire time they were beta testing this didn't come up because everyone had Linux or Mac on the beta team? Give me a break

 Most people have Windows of course, but the 255 Character limit is a WINDOWS limit plain and simple. You are't the first nor the last user that installed your MSFS into a folder exceeding that 255 character limit. Luckily, it's easily fixable as it did come up in the beta testing. AIG can't fix where you installed your sim.

I have watched a ton of YouTube videos and although I am not as frequent in the Alpha India Group forums as I was a decade ago I still do visit time to time. I have seen other people with the issue but Not a single recommendation to install MSFS into a bigger drive once. Seems like that was the easy fix for it. Haven't seen it ANYWHERE! No FAQs, No bulletins, Nothing! 

 I don't understand what you are arguing here. Seems like you want to drive this into a subject that has nothing to do with my initial point. Look,  Alpha India Is a great tool. Its honestly great work for FREE if you can figure it out. I get that you are on your own since its freeware and support is minimum. However literally all of that just backs up my initial point which is I look forward to a product that is payware and a seamless transition product that is more streamlined to someone who doesn't feel like spending 5 hours tweaking around to get something to work. To act like everyone downloaded this and got it to work within 15 minutes is a lie and Im certainly not going to reach and blame WINDOWS for this this when almost everyone uses it. the program should have less of an excuse at that point to be such a hassle

Is this thing like Ultimate Traffic? Produce once, don't ever update the models, routes or paints again? It looks decent in the video.

Most of you I bet are so much better with computers than what I am so it confuses me a bit how you can find the AIG setup so complicated. Its just two downlioadd and a few clicks and only needs to be done once. I have also never seen these crashes some talk about.
 

When it comes to models and liveries these offerings cant even compete in my opinion. The pay offering has only some 40 models, no business jets no models like Cessna 208, BN2 Islander and others that many smaller airlines actually use and for some reason not even the Dash 8 100-300 series.

Agreed. I installed the last few airlines yesterday evening and the amount of models and liveries is unbelievable: no payware option even comes close. And it's very easy to get it done: it only takes a bit of time to get all the airlines. 😉  The problem isn't really that it's around 44GB but that quite a few sources have a very sloooooooooooow connection... and that even the OCI-bulk option can be interrupted because of files not downloading automatically. But in the end it's totally worth it!

We are now getting towards the final stage of development of FS Traffic. Following the upcoming release of SU11 we want to spend a bit of time testing and polishing the final product. Thanks for update!

I have a question about the product. 

- What size will the product be?

- The FPS are  low or high? should i expect to see FPS drop to 27FPS?

- Should i use OFF or Online traffic?
