June 19, 20223 yr SimWorks Studios has announced the development of a third aircraft. After the release of the RV-14, the studio is now working on the RV-10 and the Pilatus PC-12, but also on the GippsAero Airvan, a military aircraft similar to the Kodiak but of Australian origin. The Airvan is a little older than the Kodiak so no glass cockpit. Wait and see... The GA8 is not a military aircraft; it's a low cost utility platform that completes with C207 and to a lesser extent the C208 and Kodiak. It's most popular utilization is for sky diving drops. I live right opposite a skydiving airfield in North East England that used to run one (although they've now upgraded to a Grand Caravan that 'sits' 18 skydivers). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GippsAero_GA8_Airvan Bill 😎FS2024 • Currently in 'GA mode' : A2A Comanche 2024 & Aerostar • Black Square C208, Bonanzas, Barons, TBM850, Dukes • COWS DA40 & DA42 • FSW Legacy, C24R Sierra & C414 • Echo Falco F8L • FFX HJET, Visionjet and P180 2024 • Got Friends A32 Vixxen • FSReborn Sirius TL3000, Sting S4 and Piper M500 • Flyboy Rans S6S • Skyward DA50RG • SWS Zenith CH701, RV-8, RV-10, RV-14, PC12 • Milviz C310R • Air Foil Labs Bristell B23 TrackIR • BeyondATC • PMS GTN Payware • RealTurb • Axis & Ohs • FS Realistic Pro9800X3D • RTX 3080 • 64GB DDR5-6000NPPL licence holder in the UK

I asked about it on their FB page the other day - it's still under development. Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org
June 19, 20223 yr These guys are quite good, but they keep an extensive list of unfinished products (Kodiak Floats, DHC-7, and now this...). June 19, 20223 yr I assume with this many balls (planes?) in the air they must have multiple dev teams working simultaneously, like Milviz. Otherwise yes certainly a lot to chew on. Took the words right out of my mouth. Especially the Kodiak which the ground handling is still like a supermarket trolley The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA

Otherwise yes certainly a lot to chew on. That's true. Unfortunately we've had quite a few setbacks due to health reasons -except for me, almost everyone else got down with something. The good news is that we finished one plane that we were doing for someone else (not saying what/who) and thus could announce the Airvan. It's been sitting in the backburner since February. 15 hours ago, Ron Attwood said: Took the words right out of my mouth.
