Well, can't comment on DLSS as I don't have the hardware for it but DX12 is actually an improvement over DX11 now. Much smoother.

Added a poll for that 🙂

DX11 and TAA

I really want to use DX12 but I am getting the artifacts with it because of VRAM even with my 10GB RTX3080. I can see that they are moving in the right direction with DX12 but at least on my hardware and my settings, it is not good enough for me to switch. I know that it looks like people are reducing from Ultra Settings to High Settings with good results, but I do not want to sacrifice visuals at this point.

As for DLSS I did not see enough improvement because I am not GPU limited and the only thing I fly is tube liners and the ghosting and blurry textures on the screens again are not worth it for me.

For visuals, yes.

For the flight model, well that's a big no!

I was referring to the scenery being great and the FPS better with a quality graphics card. Which doesn't make a ha'porth to the fidelity of the flight model.

S'all.

Have some weird artifacts with DX12 due to Vram is my guess (RTX 3080 (10GB)) (pretty easy to trigger switch a few times with settings DLSS and TAA)

Back to TAA much clearer displays and performance no difference between DLSS (quality and TAA) as for shimmering that is much improved with DLSS...

So when they improve that part I switch but DX12 and memory Vram is an issue even with lower settings 😉 (i7-12700K with a RTX 3080 and 32GB ram)

See a few people mention artifacts but I'm on a 1080 Ti with 11GB of VRAM and haven't seen a single artifact. Could it be driver related or perhaps a certain setting causing it with the 3xxx cards?

Using VR;

DX11 + TAA

DLSS does nothing on my system for performance, the blurred Garmin screens are awful so can't use that anyway. Will investigate future fixes/tweaks if any are forthcoming though.

DX12 is one big stuttery mess and then the graphical glitches appear as if by magic, will avoid that for now.

Is DLSS something Beta users can enable in the sim, or is this a Nvidia driver thing ?
