July 13, 20241 yr What I'm intrigued to know is, whether using one of these tools to save profiles will make it easier to import into MSFS2024. Obviously something we don't know the answer too just yet but we do know from the recent FSExpo that we're getting individual aircraft profiles as default in the Sim. My issue will be I don't want to go through the complete bottom ache of setting up all my controls from blank on day one, maybe Asobo will have the ability to import from MSFS2020 - but if not....ouch, that's where I'm wondering if these tools could help. July 13, 20241 yr I suspect 2024 will copy over the 2020 config if it exists, but if not, I see no reason why A/O and SPAD won't seamlessly integrate with 2024. The only reason it wouldn't is if they completely change the commands, which would be silly. Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light

July 17, 20241 yr AAO is an excellent program and when you're used to it it only gets more powerful for whatever application you are asking of it. The developer Lorby is one of the best developers when it comes to personally helping with any item you might be having trouble with. I highly recommend it and see a great future for the program with 2024.

Whether one uses Spad or AAO, the existing profiles for MSFS2020 will most likely work in MS2024 as well. It would be ludricous if Asobo suddenly throws the current SDK overboard. Unlikely too, since most MSFS2020 addons are supposed to be compatible. There is a small chance we will need an updated version of Spad of AAO to stay compatible but it might even work as is.
