August 31, 20223 yr Which was the basis of why tools like FFTF Dynamic in P3D were so helpful - helped reduce settings on final and low altitude to ensure frame rates didn't collapse at critical moment. Hope we don't end up back there for MSFS..... Edited August 31, 20223 yr by RobF2
August 31, 20223 yr I did experienced it with the Fenix at certain 'heavier' airports. However, I did not experienced it in the PMDG at the same airports... so my guess Fenix is doing really weird stuff with the CPU. I am waiting for a Fenix update hoping it will smoothen it. The PMDG 737 performs better on my rig without those stutters (no GSX). August 31, 20223 yr I can remember a period of time with FSX, that just before touch down, a pause or stutter could occur for some. Turned out to be a problem with sound drivers causing latency. Of course their are multiple causes for latency and overloading the system accounts for most of them. Yes, I use PG all the time, but as I said, this issue occurs at maybe one our of 25 flights . LOD is 125. Performance is great except for this issue. Usually after touchdown, everything returns to normal for taxi in.
September 1, 20223 yr I began having the same type of behavior recently and have to attribute it to the new plane in the hangar--PMDG 738. Surprise surprise, it has greater impact than CRJ-700 and the B78X HD.
