September 9, 20223 yr Running Windows 11 Pro on my PC that I built about a month ago and another PC I built about 2 months ago. Zero issues, no stuttering and solid 50fps with complex aircraft like the PMDG or Fenix with high to ultra settings. Something else must have been contributing to the issues the OP had. All I did was uninstall all the programs I didn’t want, turnoff game mode, HAGS, location and privacy related services and exclude anything MSFS 2020 related from Windows Defender. I’d have no hesitation using Win 11 Pro again. I found it pretty easy to use and it gives links to webpages explaining what changes it makes. My right-click menu is now pretty much as it was in Win 10 and I have the same control over most things that I had before upgrading to Win11. Thanks! Nice freeware tool with many useful options. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
September 9, 20223 yr Changing the context menu is exactly one entry in the registry. Should be doable for anyone. Sometimes I feel like I am the only one not having windows problems at all. But then again I remember watching my parents, clicking all kinds of fancy things in the web browser and accepting it - so yeah. Also at work I sit close to the First level User support and can hear them on the phone - it's also quite funny. Edited September 9, 20223 yr by MySound

Before I used it, I was seriously thinking Win11 was a bad idea. I know PC users are generally resistant to change, and may miss improvements as a result, but Win11 really did take away some good things. Should be, but you need to remember that many people who may even use the most sophisticated of programs aren't comfortable messing with the registry. There's computing and computing.
