Windows 11 downgrade to Windows 10

I love W11, easy to use once you get used to the small differences, and for me the most stable OS I have ever had for simming

Never had a stability problem with W10. Too many things are a PIA for me in W11. and so easy in W10.

Now why would anyone do that?  Totally modify a statement of another user?  Why did you quote part of his statement but clearly omit another key part?  We have way too much of that going on in this world right now.  Get it out of here!

Because no matter what, i wouldn't go back. There is no logical explanation for what was posted and i didn't want to elaborate too much because of posts like this one. And i won't reply further, just regreted doing so.

That does not in any way justify what you did by quoting him the way you did.  Voice your own view without slanting someone else's view.  Else you lose big time!  Which I humbly believe you did!  And I called it out for others to note!  Intolerable!

I am not joining in the W11 vs W10 discussion.  Just taking great exception to your selective rhetoric maneuver.  Quote?  Then quote in full context!

FYI
The main differences between W10 and W11 :

Android App integration in W11

Better virtual desktop support

Easier transition from monitor to laptop

Taskbar added in Windows Teams

Widgets

Enhanced touchscreen, pen and tablet support

XBox tech to improve gaming ….

Behind the curtain W10 and W11 are almost the identical.

@Rene_Feijen

You probably did not have all W11 updates installed. For now you are happy with the performance. When W10 support stops you might reconsider.

Just wanted to report my experiences: had heavy stuttering in SU10 beta 3 and beyond. On Windows 11. Tried for about 5 weeks all kind of settings and tweaks. Did full clean install of Windows 11 and the sim. No effect. Finally made decision today to go back to Windows 10.

And.. I got my sim back! Smooth 60 fps in 2D 4K on ULTRA. And smooth almost without stuttering in Reverb G2.

So: allways consider downgrading to Windows 10 in case of performance issues.

Did you upgrade to Windows 11 from Windows 10?
I had similar issues after upgrading from Windows 10 to 11, but instead of downgrading to Windows 10 I solved it by doing a fresh install of Windows 11 and making sure all drivers were current.

This is why I hate partial quoting, the forum leaders constantly tell us to do it but I consider changing someone's words by partial quoting insults the poster.

What they and many of us do not like is the quoting of many pictures or paragraphs of text, followed by a one line answer.
Such things can be seen every day.

I applaud @Rene_Feijen for the topic.
A solution to a problem has been found and shared.
The fact that some have tried to shoot it down in flames is typical and regrettable.
I applaud Rene_Feijen for the controlled and polite responses to the critics.

What utter nonsense.

I would not say that, mysteries can happen. Since I bought a "green current" contract from my energy provider I've got +5 fps in my Sim! 🙂

It won't be a win 11 thing, it was just something not right in win 11 that was fixed with a re install I'd say
