Hmmm....I wonder if that's a combination of the showcase camera in MSFS and the display at 3840 x 1600? Normally, I don't see that effect when flying. But I do find that the drone camera (whilst excellent) can often cause distortion as one moves around/in/out.

The roads and buildings don't appear to have any distortion and the fields would be following the lie of the land with the village being at the bottom of a valley.

I flew the Spitfire along the southeast coast. Interestingly, MSFS improved the coastline graphics in this particular area 🙂.
