And how do we get new bing? Is there a tool like the one for google?

It's in the same app as the Google maps.   There are in fact 6 different map providers in that app.  2 are only available in the paid version though (Apple maps and ChinaHD)

MSFS's default data is usually far superior, simply because it's optimized for the sim and color corrected to minimize excssive transitions.

Do people believe that we use only Google Map like me precisely because it is very ugly and especially not optimized?

You can't imagine the pleasure it gives me to fly 30 to 50 hours a week above a repugnant earth.

The more disgusting it is the more I like. That's what makes it successful...

In PNG it's a bit of a toss up - both have strengths and weaknesses depending where you fly. It's great to have the choice though. And as has been said it's easy and almost instant to start running.

I have never used Map Enhancement.  Can you switch map sources on the fly or does it have to be done before starting msfs

I'd have to challenge this statement, there's several harsh brightness and color transitions in the default data.
Sometimes alternative providers are better, it really depends on the area one wants to fly in.

Unfortunately it requires a change prior to booting MSFS.

Not true.   You have to start the app before firing up MSFS, but once in flight you can change on the fly.  Obviously it looks a bit crappy for a couple of mins as it loads in the new tiles.

I stand corrected, I know the official instructions instruct to run the tool prior to starting the sim but I guess once started the provider can change.
I will need to test this, thanks

Challenge away. It's not even close. Sure, MSFS's default aerial are not 100% perfect, but at least there is SOME (actually a lot) color corection and cleanup. Google has *none* because Google's assets are not made for a simulator.

There's a reason why the poll above is the way it is.

It really depends on the region.
This is currently in bing. And yes, it looks exactly like that while flying in FS. And it's not just the clouds, which can happen in google as well. But there is a difference in season an it is not color corrected in any way. Google is much more coherent over central Europe. Stuff like this is happening all over germany and austria, at least.

*cherry picked images with no actual evidence*

Cherry picking is fun.

And misleading. This kind of issue is extremely rare in MSFS (which mostly doesn't use Bing material as is, so posting pictures from Bing is 100% meaningless), while it's absolutely prevalent in Google pretty much all over the place.

Its obvious from the responses that there is no silver bullet when it comes to sattilite images.

Install the tool and use the source (on the fly) that twists your nipples as required.

Just to be clear on this. Most of these images, whether Bing or Google, are not satellite.  They are from aerial photography runs flown by specialised aircraft, usually owned by the mapping authority of the country in question. Hence there is a massive variation in quality from one region to the next.

Note that 3D imaging such as we get with photogrammetry requires multiple passes each slightly offset from the previous one. This sort of thing is even more likely to be aerial photography.
